“With a sound that evokes the brooding, peaty presence of the dramatic Dartmoor landscape she hails from, mixed with the honeyed sweetness of a wild Devon hedgerow in full florid bloom, Holly Ebony invokes in listeners a yearning to sing and the lingering sense of a journey shared.
In her elegant solo venture, acoustic guitar accompanies a voice of profound primal power and rare acrobatic dexterity, gracefully through folk, blues and soul, delivering tender playfulness alongside raw, edgy attitude.
A flexible musical act available for full set performance or as a detail featuring within a ceremony. Personal requests are welcome and the act can be customised upon discussion.”
‘A voice that is comfortable yet seductive, familiar yet brand new, and simply one of a kind, She meddles soul, blues and folk into one heckufa concoction and stirs it until it becomes her own.’ Found Magazine
‘Her subtle blend of stripped down summery folk pop was a great antidote to a hectic week.’ Music Muso

“What sets us apart from other venues is that we have no curfew which means you can party till the early hours. We also let you stay and enjoy the Sunday, relaxing by the 30 degree heated outdoor pool with poolhouse, leaving Monday for the clearing up. We also let you plan your wedding day yourselves, giving you complete freedom over caterers, bands, size of marquee if needed and everything else. Eggbeer has a very relaxed atmosphere, so for those of you who want something more than the more traditional wedding and would like something different, we highly recommend you come and have a chat. We have a beautiful camping area with a fire pit with views over Dartmoor for all your guests to use and they have their own bathroom facilities including a hot shower, leaving the house for you and your family to enjoy.” This stunning venue is really special and our rustic, delicious and local food looks great in the beautiful big barn.

“We’re very happy to cater for your event – be it a bonfire party or a wedding reception.
We find that the best way to feed lots of hungry people is to bake our 10” pizzas (hand-made, these often turn out more like 12”) and serve them cut into four generous slices on biodegradable holders. Ideal for parties.
Our van needs a level place to park – that’s all you need to arrange. After that you can leave it to us to turn out sizzling, freshly-baked pizza slices to satisfy your hungry guests.”
Many weddings we have catered have pizza’s as the evening food – a great option for people who love delicious, locally sourced and innovative food for their special day.
“Whilst living in various parts of Spain for over 5 years, I fell in love with the Spanish way of life and, in particular, the cuisine. I spent the first year of my time in Spain on the Costa Brava, in Sant Feliú de Guíxols, where I was exposed to Mediterranean sea food and, of course, authentic Spanish paella.
Later on, I ventured south, to the mountains of Andalusia, where I spent a year working at 4 star rural hotel, El Coto Del Valle. Here I was introduced to the wonderful array of predominately meat dishes typical of the region, from Jamón Ibérico, Plato Alpurareño, Salmorejo, to Lentejas con Chorizo. A year later, I relocated once more, this time to the city of Granada, where I was spoilt by the seemingly infinite variety of tapas on offer across the city.
After moving back to my home town of Totnes, I was inspired to bring a taste of Spain back to the UK in the form of my favourite of all Spanish dishes, Paella. And so with that, Hermanos Paella was born and the rest is history” Some customers have used Hermanos for the evening food after they’ve had their wedding breakfast from The Kitchen Table.
In 1926, after three quarters of a century of brewing, The Lion Brewery in the heart of Totnes ceased trading. At its peak, this successful brewery owned 26 pubs and employed many local people. People far and wide celebrated its famous porter and its “celebrated Totnes Stout.”
Now, a passionate group of Totnesians have brought that history back to life with the launch of the New Lion Brewery, a business that will once again craft award winning beers and help to boost the Totnes economy. New Lion began creating trial brews in temporary quarters in the autumn of 2013. Over the winter, we built a new brewery from scratch on Station Road, slowly expanding capacity. Now we’ve got a state-of-the-art brewery that can produce 45 barrels a week. In addition to our three basic beers, we are working with local businesses and community groups to create experimental and one-off beers like a pumpkin ale, a chilli beer, and a mushroom stout.” We love their beer- we use it in our cooking and sell it at some events.
The Brewery can provide a fully managed bar for your wedding or can simply supply you with casks of yummy craft beer if you would prefer to run the bar yourself. Contact Mat or Jac at the brewery direct; email@example.com for more information.
“Essentially we provide a comprehensive mobile bar and drinks service in the South West and beyond. We have worked several times with Jonny and Luke – they are fun, professional and committed to sourcing their drinks as locally as possible.
“Born from a love for the finest spirits, beers and wines, we believe in showcasing all our ingredients at their very best.
