Supplier of the Season – Spring – Sharpham Cheeses

We love our local cheese makers, Sharpham Cheeses and use many of their delicious cow, goat and sheep cheeses which we buy from Country Cheeses. Sharpham Rustic goes really well with feta and tastes beautiful in our very popular spanikopita parcels and slices which we make with Bee Organics or other local growers chard, kale and/ or spinach. We use Sharpham brie in our tarts and quiches but it’s particularly popular as a canape on a crostini with homemade wild garlic pesto. These were a huge success at the recent Delicious Dart Trail and will continue to feature on our wedding menus.

The Tickelmore goat cheese really matches well with roast organic beetroot or Riverford squash and we make tarts, scone pinwheels and gluten free frittata squares with them for our outside catering. Be it; business lunches, wedding catering, birthday buffets, funerals and finger buffet gatherings. People are always really pleased to see such a local and delicious cheese featuring on their bespoke menu.

Partnering up with Sharpham House to cater beautiful weddings overlooking the river Dart is such a treat and brides and grooms often ask for Sharpham cheese to feature on their wedding menu – we are always happy to oblige!
